Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a robust and high impact volunteer circle. Our volunteers are tending to the soil of AWC, they are community members who understand the importance of prioritizing and centering black women and all women of colors lived experiences, healing and creative expression.

Our volunteers are responsible for their own ongoing antiracism and decolonization education outside of this organization and will not look to BIWOC leadership, practitioners and organizers for "unpaid emotional labor" or personal education outside of designated workshops and classes.

Volunteers commit to 3 months and 5 hours a week
